Leadership/Executive Team Development

We find that teams at the top often seek assistance in realigning their goals, roles, processes, and working relationships. Team development can help teams leverage their strengths and address issues that are impeding their effectiveness. The Leadership Development Group (LDG) provides expert facilitation of energizing off-site retreats that result in better communication and collaboration, clearer direction, and improved ability to get results.

To ensure that team retreats aren't seen as "events" that come and go without enduring impact, the LDG uses a team development process that is customized to the specific needs of the team. We begin by working with key sponsors to identify overall goals. The process includes:

  • Conducting confidential interviews with all team members
  • Identifying themes and issues affecting the team
  • Designing a retreat/process agenda in collaboration with key sponsors which may include team/individual assessments, group discussions, and experiential learning
  • Facilitating the off-site retreat, including team action planning to drive the process forward
  • Conducting a follow-up session within several weeks to review team progress

The LDG has designed highly effective processes that enable team members to understand their individual and collective impact on their work units, leadership team, and the organizational culture.
